It is an ideal growing medium for cost efficient shallow systems with hardy and drought tolerant vegetation. Careful plant selection must be considered depending on the depth of the system.
While a 2”- 4“ depth will support hardy succulents such as Sedum and Delosperma species, a depth of 5” or more will support a wider range of perennials and grasses.
